Our Mission

Lets face it, being in the hospital sucks. It sucks even worse if you're a kid. Trust me, I've had my fair share of hospitals over the last few years and experienced it first hand as a child. Childhood is a time in our lives we cherish, a time that as adults we often lament after our innocence is replaced by responsibility. Being a child in a hospital is terrible. For these kids most of the things we associate with childhood are taken away from them, some endure uncomfortable or painful procedures and tests, and some struggle for their very lives. Not to mention the anguish the families of these children go through.

No Pause for a Cause wants to help make a difference in the lives of children by doing what we can with our skills. Our team is a group of students and graduates who through our studies and slacking have acquired superhuman mental endurance, we are resistant to sleep deprivation, and have unstrainable fingers and thumbs. We want to put these skills to use to raise money for children in hospitals and make their experience just a little better.

On Dec 18th at noon (EST) our team of volunteers will begin playing some of the weirdest video games ever made. For your entertainment we will be streaming our suffering and terrible wit live over the internet. As long as the donations keep streaming in we will not stop until we reach our donation goal of $1000 and the time limit of 30 hours. All of your donations will go directly to Child's Play, a charity which provides children's hospitals with games and toys.

Through my own experiences I have learned that the mind can help heal the body and that a stressed mind can slow down even stop the healing process. Please help us put controllers into small hands to help the alleviate the mind of its burden, for even a moment allow these children to play like normal children do. That way they can overcome their challenges, and grow up to be strong individuals.

It's time to put our thumbs to some good use.
